1 Carnival of the animals 6/10-14
Stories, toy sharing, puppet shows... An imaginary adventure begins with kids’ own stuffed animals. Children will create stories, learn to sing and play the keyboard and compose their very first 4 bar music at the end of the week.
2 Pirate Adventurers 6/17-21
Treasure hunt, imaginary play, act, music appreciation, percussion session, Children will make a musical at the end of the week.
3 Under the sea 6/24-28
Water activities, finding Nemo games, learn to play “baby shark”, “under the sea” ... Children will learn to play as a team on keyboard and ukulele! A mini ensemble concert will be performed at the end of the week
4 Super heroes 7/1-5 (no 7/4)*
Kids can get dressed up and be their favorite characters the whole week experiencing the sounds, dynamics of instruments, and how the sound making effects each character. A short movie music will be invented at the end of the week. Mon– PJ Masks, Tue – Paw Patrol, Wed – Mr. Incredible, wonder woman, Thur– Spider man, Batman, Fri – Dress up as your favorite heroes for our Super rescue!
5 Disney princesses 7/8-12
Girls can dress up the whole week, learn to play their favorite Disney tunes on Keyboards and violins!
Monday – Surfs up! with Moana and Ariel
Tuesday – Bundle up for Frozen Fun
Wednesday – Belle, Aurora, and Cinderella’s Royal Ball
Thursday – Party with Snow White, Rapunzel + Friends
Friday – Dress up as your favorite princess for our Royal Celebration
6 Music Maker 7/15-19
Using recycled items to craft instruments, explore 8 different instruments to play and putting up an unplugged concert at the end of the week.
7 Music Olympics 7/22-26
Whether you run at a turtle pace or hop like a rabbit, you will find your way to win the race! Music theory and notations will be introduced through fun activities. Kids will learn the tempo, explanation, dynamics and all elements of music knowledge while they race!
8 Be my valentine 7/29-8/2
7/7 on lunar calendar (8/7) is Chinese Valentine’s Day when cowherd and weaver 牛郎織女 meet on the magpie bridge over the Milky Way once a year on the day of seventh day of seventh lunar month. Children will be introduced to Chinese instruments and how music is played in all genre from east to west, pantatonic scale to swing jazz. A fusion ensemble will be performed at the end of the week! Oh! And this is a bring a friend week!
9 Bon appetit 8/5-9
Using cookwares to form a kitchen band! Kids will discover the sound from our surroundings whether from the kitchen all the way to backyard! A delicious concert will be made at the end of the week! Bon Appetit!
10 I am a super star 8/12-16
A glance of music history and a brief introduction to famous composers of all era. Kids will learn to appreciate music in different styles, scavenger hunts, and play like their favorite composers at the end of the week!
At the end of each week, kids can invite their family and friends to join us for a showcase celebration to enjoy a concert performed by campers. Learn more about the fun and exciting activities your child experienced during the week and have an opportunity to meet your child’s instructor. Concert themes vary by course topic and instructors will highlight of the important concepts covered during the week and possible next steps to continue your child’s music learning. Arrive 30 minutes earlier for each camp as concert begins 20 minutes before camp ends

This is a skill building program. We aim to continue students’ music education after this camp. Students will learn a comprehensive foundation of music theory including solfage singing, music reading, rhythm patterns, to finger activities.
